The Journey of The Playtime Store...
On the 27th November 2022, we celebrated an incredible milestone for The Playtime Store.
We turned two!
We were joined with over 70 influencers and some customers for a morning of interaction, coffee, food and a ton of entertainment on our range. More on the event soon, first we want to reflect on what a wild ride it has been...
The family owned business started in 2020 by Cherise and Brock (the founders) specialising in Soft Play and Foam Ball Pits. The range has slowly expanded over the two years and now has over 100 products. It wasn’t so long ago the founders were shipping orders out from their garage with stock overflowing into their house. Now, we have two warehouses (one in Australia and one in New Zealand), an incredible range to offer and a wonderful community who love our products also as much as we do!
The best part is, Cherise and Brock's kids LOVE it when new samples arrive, it feels like Christmas for them and they are the BEST product testers! Not only has The Playtime Store's product range grown in the past two years, so has Cherise and Brock's family. They welcomed the beautiful Spencer into the family.
The inspiration for The Playtime Store came from our founder, Cherise wanting safe, high quality toys for her kids to play on that suited the design and decor of their home. She found local ball pits in New Zealand stores but they weren’t perfect and did not fit her style so she went out to find her own. From this, The Playtime Store was born.
Over the last two years, we have attended four expos across Australia and New Zealand where we have connected with some incredible brands, customers and potential buyers. We have definitely had our obstacles but it always turns out to be worth it to meet so many people who have seen our brand presence online.
We had our first community event which was such an incredible turn out. Seeing everyone come together with their kids and experience our range in person was an amazing accomplishment.
Okay... now back to our second Birthday Event. Here are some photos from the day that show how beautiful the event was. We had amazing vendors that helped create the perfect day.
