As summer is just around the corner, it is a priority to get the young ones off their devices and enjoying the outdoors. Take advantage of the warmer, longer days by playing outside.

Spending time outdoors is linked to improved academic performance, better mental health, reduced stress, and higher levels of physical activity.

We are here to help make it your kids best summer yet by giving you some cheap, easy activities!

Just Add Water

Keep the little ones smiling and bring the ocean to you with your very own inflatable pool.

A cool, refreshing addition to your backyard that will keep your kids entertained for hours. These pools will create so much fun for your children. Setting up the pool is the easy part! Select a spot on your lawn, inflate the pool and just add water.

Or you can use it as an inflatable ball pit by adding a range of CE certified play balls. Multi purpose!

A Camping Adventure

If you don’t already have a tent, you can pick one up at an affordable price and set it up in your backyard for your kids to play in.

Fill up your tent with all the blankets and pillows and spend a night with them outdoors stargazing and telling stories.

Grow A Garden

Gardening is a healthy, fun activity for children. Children develop new skills and learn about nature from growing their own food.

Before you get started, make sure that your garden is a safe place, with suitable equipment, tools, fences, gates and paths for children to use.

Then pick out your favourite plants and let the gardening begin!

Create An Obstacle Course

Create an outdoor obstacle course with a range of vinyl products from The Playtime Store. This will keep the kids occupied and enjoying the outdoors.

Please note, always take the products back inside at the end of the day.

Draw

Get out some blank paper and crayons and let your little ones go wild. Alternatively, grab a creative colouring book from your local bookstore which will keep the kids busy for hours.

We hope these tips give you the inspiration and motivation you need to create the perfect summer.
